Les Habitats / Habitats
We had just started our unit on Habitats when the school closed. Here are some sites that your child could visit to learn about different animals and their habitats. I also put a site for little experiments that they could do at home. Enjoy!

New! April 20th
Here is a new little project that your child could do during this week. In this project, your child will have to draw a plan of his bedroom or house. We had learned in class that all habitats needs 5 essentials things to survive. They can also write a charade for one of the needs. He/she can see some examples on the links below.
When drawing a blueprint of your house, the image is an aerial view, like you're looking down from above. The thick black lines represent walls. Can you guess what the different shapes represent? Gather supplies needed: paper (grid paper would be ideal), a ruler,a pencil, an eraser.
Have fun creating! It may take a couple drafts to get it right. For example: the area of your bedroom would be smaller than the area of your living room. Don't give up!

Nos bébés saumons vont bien dans notre aquarium. Voici une photo prise la semaine passée quand j’ai eu le droit de rentrer pour les vérifier.
